About a month ago I started a PhD in Art History at The University of Edinburgh. This is my PhD blog, finally up and running!
I have never blogged before but following the example of other students I decided to give it a go. I believe a blog will help me to keep track of my thoughts, reflect on my research and gauge my progresses.
Blogging will also be a good way to spread my research and bring across some (in my opinion) fascinating topics. I have to admit that blogging on Renaissance art is a bit intimidating. Every time I tell people what I am focusing on I get ‘that’ look as to say ‘What else is left to research? Hasn’t the Renaissance been over studied?’. The following pages will - hopefully - prove the contrary.
